Rankiac shuts down.

When Rankiac started, it was the best way to track keywords and the status of your link graph. The daily updates worked great for users that needed up-to-date information on their SEM status. Unfortunately, limits imposed by Google and the costs associated with crawling our small fraction of the web have necessitated shutdown.

I do not enjoy shutting things down, but Rankiac has outlived its purpose. Though it taught me a lot about selling SaaS and running a web service, it is becoming less and less relevant.

I am focusing all my efforts on my newest startup: Zapier: the easiest way to make your web apps talk to each other.

So thank you for using Rankiac all these years. I truly appreciate it.
